Why was I instructed to refresh my browser?

Web browsers cache (keep in memory) web content so that web pages load more quickly.  If you are a website editor and you edit and save a page, your browser may get "stuck" on the old page and fail to bring up your new information.  When this happens you'll need to refresh your browserand depending on how stuck your browser is, you man need to force-refresh your browser.

If your page does not change, then force-refresh your browser.

Firefox on Mac:  Command + shift +R

Safari:  Command + R
